Developing Feasibility Studies for Energy Distribution Companies

As a subcontractor to a prominent regional automation solutions provider, we played a critical role in developing feasibility studies and coordinating project activities for energy distribution companies in Montenegro and Serbia.

For the Montenegrin Distribution System Operator (CEDIS), we conducted a thorough evaluation of the existing infrastructure and operational capabilities. Based on these findings, a comprehensive system concept was developed, which served as the foundation for preparing tender documentation. We also supported preparation of the tender procedure to select the best bidder for the procurement of SCADA and ADMS systems, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.

For the Serbian Distribution System Operator (EDS), we updated the feasibility study for the construction of an AMI/MDM system. The study aimed to ensure that the metering system would meet both medium- and long-term objectives. It proposed an optimal implementation strategy and technology, taking into account factors such as the diverse types of consumers, their geographical distribution, the available distribution network infrastructure, communication technologies, metering equipment functionalities, metering management system functionalities, and a comprehensive technical-economic analysis. This project was financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and supported by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

By providing tailored solutions and comprehensive project coordination, we continue to contribute to the modernization and efficiency of energy systems across the region.
