On a project financed by an international development organization, our team played a pivotal role in supporting renewable energy initiatives in Serbia. Working for the Ministry of Mining and Energy, SEG developed a centralized platform to streamline renewable energy data management. This platform empowers the Ministry to efficiently collect, analyse, and utilize critical data. In the subsequent project phase, we are designing and developing a custom tool for short-term planning and evaluation of renewable energy projects. These tools enhance the Ministry’s ability to assess and forecast renewable energy integration into Serbia’s electrical grid, establishing a robust foundation for a sustainable energy future.
Expanding our efforts internationally, we were engaged by a global energy consultancy firm to create a comprehensive roadmap for demand-side rooftop photovoltaic (PV) monitoring systems in Bangladesh. Following a thorough evaluation of the operational readiness of two key energy distribution companies, we conducted a feasibility study and delivered actionable recommendations to improve efficiency. Key strategies included integrating a Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) to enhance monitoring and control capabilities. As part of the project, we also designed and delivered, scalable monitoring solution for rooftop photovoltaic (PV) installations. The system, deployed as a pilot project, integrates smart meters with cloud-based or IoT-enabled communication for real-time data collection and analysis.
These initiatives demonstrate our commitment to delivering innovative and impactful solutions and promoting renewable energy adoption in diverse markets.
